Child Care Program Overview
From infancy to school-age, Amy & Kids Co. provides everything your child needs to succeed in school and in life. Our play and nature-based learning prepares children for the future, while making sure they have tons of fun and get to enjoy just being a kid.

Infants and Toddlers
Infants are just beginning to learn about the world, while toddlers are always looking for something new to explore. Our program promotes the development of secure attachments while meeting the unique needs of each child.

Preschoolers
These years are exciting as children grow from toddlers into school-agers. In our play-based program, preschoolers learn through play; developing self-control, as well as social, emotional, self-help, and other 'soft skills' needed for success in school and in life.

School Agers
Our school age program provides a comfortable, safe, and fun place for older children to unwind, play, practice skills, and interact with other children and caring adults. These 'big kids' have opportunities to help the younger ones and be looked up to as positive role models.

Curriculum
A good curriculum focuses on relationships, environment, routine, and most important – play! We follow the Complementary Curriculum Approach © and The Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care ©, both of which address all the domains of a child's learning & development from birth to school age.

Learning Activities
What will your child do all day? Plenty! Each day provides opportunities for growth and learning through play. Daily activities balance planned invitations and child-led exploration in carefully curated learning centers. Ample time, materials and space is provided for the children's interests to guide their learning.

Daily Schedule
Our daily schedule perfectly balances consistency with flexibility. The rhythm of each day follows the children's needs rather than the clock, but the same events always occur in the same order every day. This predictability helps the children feel confident, secure and in control of their environment.
