One of the biggest benefits of family child care is that for many providers, early care and education is more than just a job or career; it’s a calling that we take great pride in. At Amy & Kids Co. in Appleton, Wisconsin, the programs reflect my personal values, and I pour my heart and soul into them.
Quality Child Care
Children who attend a quality child care program are better prepared for school, more likely to complete high school, attend college, and become successful adults.
Eco-Healthy Child Care
We believe that "green" child care provides the best environment for children and the adults who love and care for them, so it's only natural to make green choices whenever we can.
Play Based Learning
Play is extremely important to children's learning because it provides the foundation needed to learn abstract ideas, like letters and numbers, so they're ready for formal school.
Nature Based Program
Children need to spend time in nature, and our nature based program provides plenty of time in our Nature Explore certified outdoor classroom so they can receive all the benefits being outdoors provides.
Messy Play
At Amy & Kids Co. we firmly believe in the benefits of messy play and allow the children to get messy while playing. Please send your child in “play clothes” that can get dirty. Infants learn through their senses, so this applies to them too!
